Listed as endangered in Victoria, the only other known occurrence of the species is in the Warby Ranges near Springhurst innorth-east Victoria. Rare or localised A small fragile stand of one mature tree (8m in height) and several juveniles, but it is difficult to distinguish between seedlings and suckers. The area was burnt in 1979 and only the large tree survived..
